Our Work
By working with local schools, nonprofit organizations, and business leaders we help youth navigate systems of oppression and create opportunities for skill building, social capital, community involvement, and financial stability.
Where are the Faces?
RISE was created to provide a platform for educating the public on issues faced by our most vulnerable youth and their families as well as a structure to gather and reallocate resources for positive impact within our community.
Because of systemic and generational trauma, many youth don't trust systems and RISE will respect that by earning their trust and not exploiting their stories.
Measures of Success
We measure the success of RISE in guiding disconnected and systems-impacted youth by academic progress, economic empowerment, increases in number of youth with part or full-time employment, increases in youth-reported numbers of adult mentors identified as trusted and supported, decreases in involvement in the justice system, and by an elevated sense of belonging.
